Terms and Conditions

This page discusses the terms and conditions applying to all photography sessions with Liv Cottingham Photography. Whilst the session fee and location details may not apply to every session, the principles remain the same.

The photography session includes the photographing time stated upon booking at the agreed location and an in-person gallery viewing of the final retouched photographs. Photographs are to be purchased at an additional cost based upon the format the client chooses to display their chosen images, unless stated prior to booking that images are included. Payment of the session fee (if applicable) is due immediately after the event occurs.

Creation of prints/wall art/albums will occur during/after the gallery presentation with the client whereby the client can choose what photographs they would like to purchase and in what format. Every photograph purchased in printed format is also given to the client as a downloadable digital file. Client understands and agrees that the proof photographs shown during the gallery presentation are the exclusive property of the photographer and client has no right to these photos except licence to review them. Payment for the photographs chosen during the gallery presentation is due within 5 days and the client understands that prints/wall art/albums will not be ordered before payment is received. As such, digital image files are only delivered to the client upon receiving payment.  

The client shall reimburse the photographer for any additional costs the photographer may incur for parking or entry to a location, which is necessary for the performance of these services.

Proof photographs shall be delivered to the client during an in person gallery presentation at Liv Cottingham Photography’s studio in Jarvis Brook, Crowborough OR at another agreed location (unless otherwise agreed with client to be online) no more than 30 days after the photo session. 

Photographs purchased in printed format are also given to the client as digital files.

The photographer retains copyright in the photographs, and hereby grants the client unlimited but non-exclusive rights to use or reproduce the photographs for which the client pays. Photographs must not be used for commercial purposes.
