Lynne’s experience…
“I was over the moon with the amazing photos of my dog – Bertie – in the beautiful bluebells. The actual photo session was great fun. Bertie loved running around the bluebell wood. Liv was very patient with him – he is only just 2 years old and does have a tendency to do his own thing!
I would highly recommend a dog photoshoot with Liv. We had a great time and have some stunning pictures of our darling boy.”
Frequently asked…

“My dog has to be on a lead, how will the photoshoot work?”
Your dog’s safety is Liv’s top priority. It’s absolutely fine if your dog stays on a lead for all or part of your photoshoot. Liv is skilled at removing leads during the editing process, so your final images will look completely natural.

“Is it going to be really expensive?”
Liv wants you to have complete freedom in choosing how to showcase your images. That’s why her pricing is structured so you only invest in the wall art and prints you truly love. She has carefully sourced premium printing services to ensure your artwork is of the highest quality, with true-to-life colours that will last for years to come. Your photo session is separate to the photos so you can choose options that suit you with no set packages or restrictions. You can choose to display your favourite photos as wall art, albums, prints or digitals – it is entirely your choice.

“I have more than one dog, does it cost more to photograph them together?”
Absolutely not. If you have more than one dog, they deserve to be photographed together! There is additional cost for dogs living in the same household.
What’s Included…

Consultation
Before your photo session, Liv will ask a few questions about your dog and if you have any ideas for what you’d like to get out of your photography session.
The purpose of a pre-session consultation call is to be able to plan and create the best photography experience for you and your pet. Whilst also to help you best prepare for the session knowing what will happen at each stage of the experience from receiving your session guide to viewing your gallery of photographs and thereafter.

90 Minute Photography Session
Liv will meet you at your chosen location and time, ready to introduce herself to you and your pet. Then it’s time to start exploring the location and capturing memories. The photoshoot is a relaxed walk around the location lots of stops along the way to capture the moments you’ll treasure forever. After your session has finished, Liv will discuss when you would like to meet again for your gallery reveal
which usually takes place 1 to 2 weeks after the photography session.

Gallery Reveal
The reveal can be in your home or at Liv’s studio in Jarvis Brook, Crowborough. This is where you get to see all of your final portraits created during the photography session. Be prepared to smile, laugh and possibly even cry when you see your pet’s portraits. There are usually anywhere from 20 to 40 photographs to view which can bring a bit of challenge when it comes to narrowing down to your favourites that you want to display in your home. If you have chosen to have your reveal at Liv’s studio, it’s a good idea to bring a few photos of your home which show the colour palette of your rooms and where you are thinking of displaying your photographs. This will help everyone visualise what products would look best with your photos and complement your home. Liv can also then create a mock up of your favourite photographs displayed as different products in your home. There are lots of sample products to browse during this time too, to give you a feel of the quality of the products, what they look like in real life and how the different colour options look.

Delivery
Whether you choose to display your favourite photographs as wall art, prints, in an album or as digitals – Liv will deliver your artwork to you after checking everything has been printed to the best quality. Wall art, prints and albums usually take 1 to 2 weeks to be created at the print lab. Digitals are emailed to you immediately – if you’ve chosen to showcase your favourite photos as prints, wall art or in an album, you also receive a complimentary digital of every printed photo which will be emailed to you.
Issi’s experience…
“I honestly can’t recommend Liv enough. She’s photographed so many special moments for us over the years, from our newborn shoot (where she was incredible with both our baby and our dogs!) to branding photos for my business, and she regularly comes along to my dog training workshops to capture my clients with their dogs.
Not only is her photography absolutely beautiful, but she’s also such a lovely person to have around. She’s kind, patient and has a real talent for making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera – even those who usually hate having their photo taken!
The images she captures are always natural, full of personality and tell a story. She somehow manages to catch those little moments that mean the most. My clients are always so impressed with the photos from our workshops, and they’re memories they’ll treasure forever.
If you’re looking for a talented photographer who’s professional, friendly and genuinely passionate about what she does, Liv is the one. Thank you for capturing so many precious memories for our family, my business and my wonderful clients.”

About Liv
I’m a dog photographer based in Crowborough, East Sussex offering outdoor and studio dog photography sessions for all dogs. My love for dog photography began when my family first bought home our Sprocker Spaniel Shadow who is now 10 years old. I’ve always been passionate about capturing memories and for me, photographs are a way to relive the past – to remember how the moment felt, what it looked like and how things are now. I am passionate about giving others the chance to have high quality photographs to remember their pets by and to celebrate the bond they share.
Loving an animal is an indescribable feeling to anyone who has not been lucky enough to share such a unique bond and it is my mission to give as many people as I can, the opportunity to cherish their memories with their best friend forever.

What Our Client’s Say…
“Liv was amazing. She was calm and very patient as my dogs where not the best at staying in the correct places. The results where fantastic. Anyone looking to get a photo shoot she is the one to go to.” – Jane, Tux, Mags, Wisp and Fred

“Superb photos taken, Liv spent time to get the best shots of the dogs and lots of patience for the fidgety dogs. Highly Recommend.” – Velma, Lyra, Isla, Crix and Tansy

“”Massive thanks to Liv at Liv Cottingham Photography for delivering my photos of Sweep this weekend. Awesome prints. Can highly recommend her services.” – Linda and Sweep

“Liv went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable, in her photo shoot with her horse. She knew the right places to go for the best shots, and we are absolutely delighted with the finished products!” – Siobhan, Daisy and Alri

“Liv was so patient with my three collies and got some wonderful portraits. Every step was well thought-out: she suggested a perfect location; had really thought about the lighting; was efficient at getting shots (despite my dogs not all being well behaved) and had an excellent set up for viewing and choosing the pictures. We didn’t think she could get all three together but she managed! It was so hard to choose but the final products all look amazing!” – Nicky, Kyte, Spyder and Rue
