Explore what to expect when you book a photography experience with Liv Cottingham Photography, what is included in the session and how you can showcase your favourite photographs. Specialising in dog photography, equine photography and pet photography in Sussex, every photoshoot is tailored individually to create an experience and artwork that truly captures your furry friend.
Step One
Register your interest. It’s super easy, just send a message or use the contact form and let Liv know that you’d like to discuss more about a photo session. Liv will send you a photo session guide with everything you need to know about dog, equine and pet photography sessions.
Step Two
Pre-session consultation. Liv will arrange to call you and have a chat about your pet and what you would like to create during your photo session. Everything from your pet’s name and colour to location and time of day will be covered so that Liv can capture portraits that you will love.
Step Three
Creation. This is where the magic happens. Liv will spend time with you and your pet at your chosen photo session location, bringing your dream photos to life. Sessions are fun and relaxed for everyone involved, giving you the chance to spend quality time together and create memories whilst Liv captures them. There won’t be any strict poses just simple prompts to direct you and your dog/horse/pet.
Step Four
The reveal. You are invited to Liv’s studio (or she can visit you in your home) to meet with Liv where she will show you all of your photographs created in step three. This is your opportunity to choose how you want to showcase your favourite photos and see how they would look in your home.
Step Five
Artwork. This is where Liv works with professional printers to bring your artwork to life. When your artwork is ready, Liv will deliver it to your home.

Showcasing Your Photographs
The best way to showcase your favourite photographs is by creating printed artwork that you can display in your home. Whilst digital images will inevitably be lost over time and will never truly show the full beauty of the photographs, professionally printed artwork brings out the rich colours, details, and textures, elevating your memories to something truly special that will last for many years to come. The Amalfi Panel
A stunning alternative to a framed print, the Amalfi panel combines a cotton, linen or wood fibre panel with a hand made cotton paper mat and fine art print, creating a unique and elegant layered wall art display.
Collections starting from £320 for three 16×12″ panels and individual panels starting from £120 for 16×12″.
The Quadra Float
A beautiful metal (or acrylic) print mounted onto a wood fibre, touch, linen or maple backing panel, creating the effect of a ‘floating’ photograph. This minimalist, yet sophisticated artwork is a fantastic addition to any room.

The Floating Frame
A striking acrylic print surrounded by a deep frame, giving the effect of a ‘floating’ photograph. Available in eight colour finishes to suit the style of your home, the floating frame is a lovely alternative to a standard framed print.

The Album
A perfect way to hold all of your favourite memories, presented in a beautiful tray box with a magnetic acrylic cover to showcase your favourite photograph on the front, this album also features as it’s own display on a shelf. Featuring a minimum of 20 pages, the album can include a huge amount of photographs. Starting from £300
The Print Box
A lovely alternative to an album, the print box features a solid velvet box with an acrylic photograph on the front cover, encasing your favourite photographs as matted prints. Choose between 5, 10, 15 or 20 photo prints for this display. Starting from £185 for 5 prints.
The Simplistic Collection
Includes standard photographic prints on photo paper, presented in a 12×8″ gift box. Choose any number of prints (lowest available within a box is 10), starting from £100 for 10. Individual photo prints are £20 each.
