What you see vs what I see…
Take a look behind the scenes of dog photography in Sussex.
Is it actually worth your time and money investing in a photoshoot for your dog? If you choose the right photographer for you, yes 100%. Choosing the right photographer is more than just comparing prices and packages, it’s about finding someone you can trust to work with your dog and provide a positive experience, it’s about choosing a photographer who’s style of work you like and finding a photographer who will help you create the portraits that you want to have hanging on your wall.
You may be thinking, ‘I can take photos like that on my phone’ and whilst you may be right, booking a photoshoot experience is more than just the digital photos. Working with a professional photographer means having guidance on the best way to position your dog, finding the best parts of a location to create those stunning portraits and getting high quality photographs that can be printed to large sizes. It’s about giving your dog a fun and positive experience whilst also teaching them patience. When it comes to showcasing your favourite photographs as wall art, professional photographs are formatted to have accurate colours when printed and if you choose the right photographer, they will ensure the products you choose are high quality and will last for years to come.
These photographs show how we can both look at the same location but what I see as a photographer can be quite different to what you see. Whilst you may be thinking more about what your dog is doing, how they look and quite possibly wondering why I have chosen that specific location – I am also seeing how your dog is positioned, they’re behaviour and emotions, but I’m also making sure the light is hitting correctly, that there’s no distracting objects in the background, that the composition of the photo makes your dog look their best. These photographs show not only the difference in quality and colour between an iPhone and a camera, but also how the photographer’s eye views a scene so differently.
